I’m directing a short film this Sunday 15th in Oxnard, California. 45 minutes north of Los Angeles. We have a 7D setup for main camera and wanted to see if anybody wanted to bring their 7D and shoot with us as a second camera.
Film is a 5 day shoot, however we are only shooting one day this weekend to test out our 7D as a viable option for the whole film. No pay for this gig, just practice shooting with your rigs. Shoot will be all day, approx 9am - 7pm could end early. Pre light day is Saturday.
We are experienced shooters, using Reds for corporate jobs. This DSLR thing is new to us and we are looking forward to shooting and testing for future use.
Film Synopsis:
Short film is about a hitman gone rogue and is dealt a lesson he won’t forget. I can forward a script if you are interested in shooting.
Scene:
Simple Interior Dialogue scene between and old and young hitman. Some blocking and movement.
Equipment Needed: 7D body of course, lenses covering focal length of 18-135mm. Any extra lenses or equipment would be great.
