Looking for feedback on CF cards for the 7D. What is the result from different speed cards
60MB/s vs 30MB/s vs 45MB/s
Here are a few choices. Any other recommendations welcome.

i dunno, but i hate the fact that the 7D uses CF.

Its going to be super expensive to upgrade from my D90 cause id have to buy all new cards and CF are like 3x more expensive than SD cards of which i have like 40gb worth.

Ive been using the Extreme III's since end of November on my 7D without a hitch...they've worked perfectly fine.
I will be moving up to the Extreme IV UDMA versions however. I've read quite a few articles where they say UDMA cards work better with 7D, so I'm gonna stock up on a couple and do some actual tests.

Does anyone know if there a noticeable difference in image quality between these cards?

I've been reading a lot of reports on other sites and it seems the UDMA cards are the only way to go if you don't already have cards. Better to be covered with the best card. If there is a problem you will pay more in post.
It turns out the very fast new cards 90/MB/s were designed for 8fps full rez Raw shooting because the 7D needs 88/MB/s to handle that speed of Data. HD only needs about 5/MB/s so most cards will do, but as we know the newer card designs like HDMA will be more stable and help with a smoother workflow.

Because the manual says that video requires 40MB/s minimum and these cards are UDMA so by buying 45MB/s instead of 60MB/s you save a few euros. I am buying 32GB 60MB/s cards, because my favorite online store doesn't have the 45MB/s versions. So be it.

There is also the brand Transcend which is cheaper but I used SanDisk before and stick with that brand.

(I made the mistake of buying 8GB cards with the camera, they are much too small for shooting video)

My understanding is that video uses no where near 40MB/second. If that were the case, each 12 minute clip would be 28GB instead of 4GB. I'm pretty sure that unless you're shooting rapid fire RAW stills, the speed of the 3 cards in the original post is negligible.
 
You have a point here :)

Oh well I already ordered them and they still offer an advantage of fast copying to my computer.
 
In my experience so far the kingston elite pro's have held up very well,i recently bought (2)8gb and (1)16gb,i'm contemplating on giving a 32gb a try has anyone tried the 32bg's yet?
