720p60 to 30p, please help!

can use cinema tools or use compressor, you shot in progressive so your changing the amount of frames this wont affect the vertical res.
If you use compressor make sure you mix down the audio. Can even use toast i used cinema tools before.

Yeah, no problem.
Cinema tools is fine. What i mean if your using fcp, render- mix down audio which is alt shift R. This will render audio. Compressor will do the same, if your using it for dvd distribution this would be ideal or toast is good.
If you using it for the web, you can still downscale audio and video to 1280x1080 which vimeo will scale to 1920. However, depends on how much bit rate you used.
But cinema tools is good, very easy to use too,

Why can't you just set-up a 720 30p timeline, and drop your 720 60p straight on to it, and let FCP drop every other frame? We do this all the time from 720 50p onto a 25p timeline. Does FCP handle 60p to 30p different than 50p to 25p? The only reason we would use Cinema Tools to go from 50p to 25p is to conform the 50p footage into 25p to get super-smooth slow motion on a 25p timeline.
