720p50 on "U.S." GH13: What codecs and bitrates? Not Sure What Info is Up to Date?

I just tried to use my Nikon D7000 for video. I have never before seen "choppy" video like this.
I'm new to the idea of the GH13. I've been trying to educate myself through this forum and Google, and am not sure what the most recent info is. It appears that the hacks are updated often.
If I may ask,
1) For 720p50, what codecs and at what bitrates are currently available for the GH13? I need playback to be as smooth as we are accustomed to with standard camcorders (I've never seen choppy playback straight from camera before my Nikon).
2) If I install a hack for, say MJPEG 720p50, can I also use the increased bitrate native 24p hack for AVCHD at 1080p24? (1080p25 would be fine).
3) I assume FCP6 has no problem importing this footage?
Any links welcome...
BTW, I will be swamped with work for a few days, so I may not be able to post a thorough reply right away.
