F3: 720p out of sdi port and into BM Shuttle question

Hi Guys,

I was experimenting today with 720p @ 50fps on the F3 conected to the BM Shuttle. I wasn't able to get the shuttle to trigger when recording from the top sdi ports a or b. But I was able to trigger and record the signal from the SDI port on the side which is for monitoring I think. Can anyone confirm if the signal comming from the monitor SDI port is still 422 and 10 bit?

Also while shooting this weekend I was running the F3 with the shuttle plugged into SDI A and it worked flawlessly recording to the internal SXS cards and the SSD's in the shuttle. I'm considering getting a Teradek bolt to transmit to a client monitor. The specs for the Bolt say it transmits 10bit 422 up to 1080p from what I recall. Could I record the transmitted signal from the Bolt via the shuttle?
Would it be as good as recording directly from the F3? Will the timecode trigger recording still work?

What I'm trying to achieve is run a lighter rig and have the shuttle just a short distance away from the camera to negate signal issues etc.

Loving the picture from the F3 so far and thats just using the Abelcine normal profile.
