720p ,50 Fps Pal Overcranking

Hi Guys


I just did a cameratest with the Panasonic AJ-HVX200; settings are movie mode, 720p, 50fps, Pal after importing with FCP 5.1, the clips played at normal speed.

I also tried 720/25 and set the frame rate to 50fps and it still play at normal speed.

I was wondering if the issue might be with the 720p50 sequence not sure??

I'm recording to FS-100 and i've import the 720p50 DVCPRO HD.xml into FCP

I would like to see it play as slow motion what i'm i doing wrong???

Set the camera to 720 25pn, then on the scene file select frame rate 50. You'll see that while recording you see on the lcd 50p (That's the normal video look), but when you play back that on the thumbnail, its in slow motion.

This only works with P2 cards and not with the firestore, i believe.
