720/60 footage to DVD question

I shot a wedding at 720/60 and am exporting it at standard res to a dvd. This is the first time I have worked with 60fps footage. It looks great in FCP, edits fine. But when I export at 480/30 it is very choppy. I have also exported at 480/60, that didn't work either when burned to a dvd. How do you export 60fps footage for DVD, which is 30 and get it to play smooth, especially slo-mo footage.

Shot with Panny HMC150 720/60
Log and Transfer w/FCP. I matched the footage with the clip settings.
Sequence settings are 1280x720HD Editing base 60 fps

Why are you exporting at standard res to a DVD.

Export it self contained current settings.

Then bring it into Compressor, and use preset for SD DVD video and audio encoding consistent with the length of the movie.

Bring the m2v and ac3 files into DVD SP, and author 16:9 letterbox.

I've done thousands of replicated SD DVDs using 720/60p source footage this way
