720 30P or 720 60P

I know this question has been asked before, but I want to know if there is a performance hit between the two on the HMC. In other words, is the "brightness" level the same between 720 60P and 30P?

And the next question is - which one has a better conversion to SD video?

Thanks -

Terry

The brightness is identical, at the same shutter speed. You can use slower shutter speeds with 30P (if you don't mind the blur that comes with it) which can give you up to 1 stop better sensitivity.

Either will convert to SD perfectly, but one will look sort of filmish (30P) and the other will look like the "reality" look (60P).

Thank you, as always Barry. That confirms what I was reading/thinking.
