720/30p audio and video out of sync

I shot some footage using 720/30p, and when I transferred it to FCE using log and transfer it looks fine in the L&T window but is completely out of sync once the file has been ingested. The video plays at twice the speed of the audio. What am I doing (or have done) wrong? thanks

Hrm, are you conforming the footage to a different framerate on the timeline? I never seen this unless I was messing with the playback speed of the clip or conforming footage to a different frame rate. I do use FCP however - not sure about FCE.

IF FCE does it, You try to let FC update the settings of the timeline to match the clip?
