SOS to all the tech gurus out there,

Here's a question that's beyond me. I want an LCD display for use with the HVX (which I plan to operate in 720/25p mode), but I want to buy it now so I can use it with my current XL2.

The thing is, I notice a lot of LCD TVs/Monitors selling here in Pal-land do not run at 50hz at all resolutions. Take the Dell 2405FPW for example, which operates at full resolution @60hz. And there's a lovely little Samsung I'm interested in buying (an Australasian model) advertised as a 1080i/720p tv, but after downloading the specs from the manual, I find it lists 576/50p and 1080/50i, but no 720/50p - just 720/60p (60hz). I even telephoned the tech division of Samsung NZ to ask for a difinitive answer on compatibility, but of course they had no idea.

Maybe I'm confusing myself, but don't I need to buy a monitor with component inputs and 720/50p (50hz) for it to be compatible with the singnal coming out of the 50hz HVX@25p. I assume this is the case, but it seems bizarre so many monitors over here don't do 720p at 50hz.
