720/24p REC REVIEW = Jittery playback, why?

Hi guys, I was running some tests, still camera, myself running around as fast as possible. Recording at 720/24p and also overcranking to 48. I was completely mislead by the REC REVIEW function in the camera, which I have set to "Clip", to review the full clip.

Have you noticed this? In my case, if you REC REVIEW 720/24p footage, it looks like some frames are skipped, others blended, I'm not sure. Is "jittery" the correct word for playback skipping frames?

The overcranked footage also REC REVIEWS incorrectly.

Of course, when you go to MEDIA and play the clip, it looks just fine.

I wanted to know if any of you knows why this happens and if there is any way of avoiding it.

I've definitely also noticed it, I just haven't let it be a problem. Almost as if the camera software can't handle being in camera mode and handling the decompression/playback of clips simultaneously.
