7" monitor

iam going to shoot a commercial on the gh2 and want to use a 7 monitor via hdmi. But is it not possible to use mf assist at the same time? if not it will be unnesscary for this project, or will i have a pitchure in gh2 monitor at same time as i have a pitchure in the extarlnal 7 monitor or in the built in efv.

No, MF is not available. However, most of these (I have the Marshall LCD70P) have a 1:1 peaking filter that will manify the center portion to assist with focusing. The main difference between this and what the camera supports is that with the camera, you can choose the area of the frame being magnified.

Ok is the peaking ok to use for focus? Never tried it before 1:1 how close is that? Can you put marshall in the lightning shoe?

The 7" marshall is too big for the shoe. he 5 may work. The 1:1 pixel is primarily used as a focus aid, however, it only magnifies the centre part of the image.
