7" Lilliput to 5DmkII

I’ve just took possession of my 5DmkII and I’m trying to set-up by Saturday my 7” Lilliput monitor through the composite, RCA, cable supplied by Canon. My Lilliput has been the unsung hero for my dvx100a, and my Canon 40D, but seems not to like my spanking new 5DmkII. I’m using the same composite RCA connection as found on my 40D, but with the newer supplied Canon cable. Anybody have any ideas what I might be overlooking?

It should work fine. I've been using the iKan 2.5" LCD (yeah, 2.5" !!! ) with excellent results for focusing, framing. Only issue is that exposure is WAY off, and so is color rendering.

Try to get them to match as best you can, but also flip flop between the camera's LCD and your Lilli to ensure that you're exposing properly.

Thanks Kholi, haha, its your Lilliput you know, lol, thanks for the fast reply. It should be no difference for still photography... right? Saturdays event I will be shooting stills only. I got my live view to work on the 5dII, which took a little reading as its not the same set-up as my 40d, but still no Lilliput activity? I push first the shutter slightly, then the upper left button, then the lower left button, but get a "no signal" reading from Lilliput. I immediately switched to 40d and it works like a champ! But at least you say it should work, which is a relief to me, Ill keep plugging.

Ha, I got it working, and its looking real good again. I'm back in bussiness! Guess in my excitement I didnt pay close enough attention to my wires. Dohhhhh! One of my trademarks!
Thanks again Kholi.
I can dof the 3rd leg from the 6th leg of an ant at 20' again. Long Live Lilliput!
