7 inch LCD HD Monitor for D7000?

I need an external monitor for a shoot I am doing this weekend. I don't want to spend a ton of money on a monitor either. Are there any 7 inch LCD HD monitors with HDMI to connect to a D7000 within a reasonable price? I just looked at a bunch on Amazon but they don't display an HD image. I am seeing they display 800x480.

I recently got an Ikan VK7 for my D800 and it makes a very very sharp HD image. It's natively, 1024x768 IIRC, but like the 800x400 types will still display a suitable HD image. I sold an older Marshall V-R70P-HDA, which was 400x800, which it looked ok on HD video, but had some major incompatibilities with the D800's constantly switching monitor rez rates. The Ikan looks *drastically* sharper though, and didn't cost me too much more ($405 at B&H, including a battery plate) than I sold the Marshall for. It also includes many handy features like false-color and peaking displays for exposure checking.

The Ikan certainly isn't built like the tank-like Marshall, but it's also light enough to use on my Steadicam Pilot, which the Marshall was not even close to. Like the Marshall, the Ikan has pass-throughs for component and composite video, as well as for HDMI, which is very handy when also using a larger on-set monitor. The main drawback with the Ikan is color (in)accuracy. No matter what I've tried so far (and I've tried quite a bit, including the separate R B and G controls), I can't get rid of a certain reddish/purplish cast to the image. It's not a dealbreaker, but it is a disappointment. Still, all in all, a great value, and like I said, sharp as you could possibly want for fine focus.

I'm wondering if tethering with a Asus Nexus 7 (with 7" 1280x800 ips display) would provide a sharp liveview image?
You would need the android app that uses the usb port.

I tried the cheap 7" Lilliput and for the money it is very good but
does not actually have high resolution
Lousy speakers come on full volume every time you turn it on.

So I sent it back and ordered a Camax H056 for a few dollars more.
The 5.6" High Resolution monitor is much better than the camera LCD
It also has focus peaking.
I have it mounted on my TriPod leg so I can pivot the camera 360 degrees while remaining seated.
I like this size better than the 7". The display is edge to edge.
