6D Video Quality

I haven't touched one, but from the tests online it's no update over the 5D2. In particular, same aliasing/moire, or even worse.

I'm trying to find info on this too...

I heard mixed things about the moire, but at the end of the day, I've never had too many problems with the 5dmkII or the 60D/7D in 1080p mode (720p is another story!). As long as it is no worse than those, I could live with it. If it's significantly worse than the mkII, then it would put me off.

I don't think aliasing/moire is significantly worse than 5D2 or 7D, just clearly not better (so, either the same, or slightly worse).
Apart from that, DR is basically the same, color is basically the same, and codec issues are basically the same (you save some disk space, but IQ is the same). Low light is better, but not by a lot AFAIK.
For me, that means it's a non-update. YMMV.

I was hoping to get some feedback from people that have actually used it in everyday situations to comment, if the aliasing and moire is the same or worse then the 5D. Also, the low light capability is a must for me, so I'm curious how it stacks up against the mark3 in that respect.

You mean there are people here who actually use the cameras in productions? Mostly it's just regurgitating stuff heard elsewhere online.

Ouch!

But: if you asked for feedback from people that have actually used an iphone as their main camera in serious productions, you'd probably not get many first-hand answers either...

I used a rented one for video at a wedding. I've heard and saw the test footage confirming moire/aliasing is the same/worse than the mkii. For our purposes it was the same, and didn't notice any issues with footage in our environment. Low light is slightly better, supposed to be better than the mkiii even. It was nice from a user standpoint -- buttons well laid out, screen looked great while shooting, etc. It was great for the quick changes required for a wedding. I haven't used the mkiii, so I can't compare.

I have the 6d so can chime in a bit. Yes it has the same moire issues as the 5dMk2 - though I knew that going in and its never been an issue as I just shoot around things that would otherwise give such problems. The low light is definitely better then the mk2, and better then the mk3 as well.
The biggest point for me for the 6d was it being smaller and lighter because I do lots of traveling & mobile shooting with it - if you are primarily working in a studio environment that is not really a selling point. The 6d being significantly cheaper was nice as well.

Overall I have no complaints with the 6D for my needs.
