Here’s a 60sec stop-motion short that I did for a ProjectED Contest. Votes are appreciated!

I used to do stopmo years ago (with a 35mm Mitchell movie camera), and would like to get back into it professionally. The background is keyed with live-action – something I always wanted to try (fan of Ray Harryhausen). I’m almost embarrassed to say that this took me about 50 hours to do. It takes a lot of patience. There are over 1200 frames, had to build the set, make the models, and then do a little post work. Please provide feedback, especially I you have any recommendations. I’d like to do some commercial work.

No love for Stopmo??
I guess it's a bit out of the norm for DVX'rs, but I'd still appreciate your votes (if you you deem it worthy). The contest ends Monday Aug. 25th.

I enjoyed it and voted. Cool animation...the only obvious flaw I spotted was redundancy in the live action. The opening wide shot shows the man cross right-to-left and pick up the skewer; the following tight shot seems to repeat the same action. Minor point though. Nice work.
