60i to 50i conversion - Can it be done?

I'v been trying to get my FX1 to achieve some pretty decent film look for past four months, but so far I havn't been so successful.

Now, if there were a way I could do a 60i > 50i conversion it would make my film look job even easier [simply using the Z1 technique].

Can this be done? If so, how?

That shouldn't be neccessary both Heath McKnight and John Fordham on dvinfo.net forums have taken the fx1's 60i and made it 24p successfully. I don't see why it's not working for you. Colour wize to me the fx1+some cc can deliver, so the only other piece of the puzzle is the frame rate, which can be done. Go to dvinfo and ask around.

Of course this is all assuming that your camera work and lighting, and acting are good too because a movie will still look like **** no matter what you do if those 3 things aren't there.
