60i/24p on same tape?

Are there any known issues shooting both 60i and 24p on the same tape. The client wants the "security" of known 60i but wants the option of 24p. So I thought I would shoot take of each scene at both settings.

There shouldn't be a problem.

But this is something you can easily enough test yourself. Just shoot a little bit of each and see what happens.

You can do it, however, you need to capture them separatly, and I would also leave lots of record time before each take. If you don't do this then when captured, your NLE won't interpret the footage properly, causing unexpected effects. However, If you are editing in a 29.976fps timeline then that point is moot. But if you ever wanted to edit the 24p footage as 24p, it needs to be captured separatly.
