I had a shoot today where we had to shoot with the audio fed into my FS100. We were running video out through the HDMI connectors to a monitor hooked up to AC power. The monitor was a rather inexpensive 27" or so HDTV (Po' boy's "Video Village".... Not!) and we found that when it was plugged in we found that we were picking up 60 cycle hum on the audio. The cable was not running over, or near any AC cables or any of the other 60 cycle usual suspects. I think that it was just the inexpensive monitor. We pulled the monitor to shoot. Just a heads up...
