Great video!!!! Now i'll know which lights to get if I ever decide to get some!

I guess side by sides are nice, but I'm a little disappointed. I came to this thread hoping to see a camera with six on board lights at once.

The Comer LED lights kick butt!

I was working at a wedding few weeks ago. The ball room was completely dark. Luckily I have the CM1800 lights. Here's the difference

Haha! Thats what I expected too at first! I was like Wow, six lights on one camera, thats gonna come out pretty damn bright. Hah.
However, this is more useful than that would've been.

Sorry for misleading. I take out the word "side by side". It was the last scene of each video clip showing side by side the brightness of each light =)

Hello Taky!
I saw your tread at the dv site... i order mine yesterday, i was just wondering if you got them in stock (it was showing today for availability) and if you do would they ship out today?
I really want to use it this weekend =)

On a non related note. I got a Varizoom/Swit S2010 light for sale! =)

Hey Superfresa66, I got the items in stock now. Just shipped them out to you. You should be getting it tmrw by express mail. Hope you will like the light. Thanks so much.

I was wondering if you can put these videos on Vimeo.

Thanks alot Taky!!!
Shipping was ultra fast, and you give a great service... I can't wait to use this light on a shoot, but i will say that my first impression was "WOW"
This light has plenty of power to fill or flood your choice, and the fact that has a dimmer is great... I think the spot feature will come in very handy. I love the color of the LED's (warmer than the swit/varizoom) i compared the two (Varizoom S2010 and Comer 1800) and the comer outperforms the swit/varizoom.

The size is bigger than the swit/varizoom, it reminds me of the old NRG varilux but the good thing is not having to carry those battery bricks around =)

I will post some more coments after a little "real life" use
But so far it looks really good

Taky:

Wow, the Comer CM-LBPS1800 looks incredible (not that the 900 version doesn't either) in comparison to the other lights. The micros look too blue and the other ones too yellow. The Comer looks the most natural in the tests, just from the naked eye seeing these videos.

How much to ship the Comer CM-LBPS1800 to Toronto, Ontario Canada? Ground shipping is fine too, no rush. I can pay through Paypal as well if that's OK with you.

Take care,
Dale.

P.S. I was looking for weeks for a good light for my Panasonic HVX200... I think I just found the perfect one :)

Greetings! Dare i compare this to the similar Sony lights, it seems that the Sony's have a REMOVABLE warming (to 3.2k) filter as part of the diffuser... while the literature on the Comer seems to indicate a NON-REMOVEABLE warming filter on the diffuser. Can you clarify which is the case?

Thanks! I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering one of these!
-Barry

Taky:

Sounds very good to me :) I will send you a private message for shipping info if that's OK (before I order it).

In regards to ullanta's message, can warming filters be removed or added at all to the comer? I never thought to ask that before.

-Dale

P.S. If this light really does live up to the expectations, I know of many, many people here in Toronto who may be interested. Perhaps we can set up a nice Toronto location for you to sell here haha.

Barry, I'm not sure what do you mean by a REMOVABLE warming. Do you mean physically remove the filter?
