6 big AOF Noms for Small Days and CREED

Hi guys...pleased to see so many of you not just screening but nominated at Action On Film this year...looking forward to meeting some of you in person...3 films I am in (2 of my own) will screen...my two, Small Days and CREED scored 6 noms inc Best Picture, Screenplay, Director and Actor, and the other film KERBEROS, by Kely McClung scored a swag of Big Noms to...some of which we compete in...

Break a leg to you all...for anyone interested, CREED is at 4pm Sat; KERBEROS is at 7:30 Sat; and Small Days is at 8:30pm Sunday...

Congrats! I'll be there the last days of the fest, with 'Two Brothers at Galarra' and 'Sameena Likes Me' screening Thursday at 4pm, and I've got a nomination for Best Composition.

Anyone else going?
 
Many of the AFTERSHOCK STUDIOS clan will be there. Matt Sconce, and I will be there all week, and many, many more will be coming in to see STRICKEN, BY HOOK OR CROOK, MERCY, NORRIS, and will support our comedy script entry THE PARK.

It is a privilege to be nominated at so prestigious a festival as AOF. We are truly honored to be up for seven nominations. I told Matt that just the noms made me happy... I don't care if we win or not... We did very well to just get noticed by such a quality fest as AOF.

We will love to see, meet and get to know all of you. :beer:

Congrats to you too Randin and Gary and Matt...I sounds like it's going to be a heap of fun this year...and awesome to see the huge turnouts you had for Stricken at the other screenings...I have no doubt you'll sell out Pasedena too...keep up the awesome work. Maybe next time we will collaborate, schedules permitting!!!

I know everyone worked their asses off on their films - so congrats to all for just getting to screen this year. Of course, the nom's from a kick-ass festival like AOF make it that much sweeter!

I will be there all week as well, hoping to meet as many of you and support as many films as possible.

I was lucky enough to be a part of Stan's movie "Creed", and I think people will really dig what he pulled off. I'm lucky to be his friend, his collaborator, and the board is lucky to have him here with his insight and experience.

Again, my respects to everyone who makes a film - big, small, good, great, or even bad! All films are such an huge undertaking on every level!

If you get the chance to check any of the 'Users' films, I encourage everyone in the LA area to do so... this all seems like a pretty unique opportunity for us!

I know Stan already posted the times for "Creed" and "Small Days" - Sat at 4pm and Sun at 8:30pm respectively. Check them out if you get the chance and you'll understand why Stan and his movies are up for so many BIG awards!

"Kerberos" screens opening weekend - Sat night at 7:30. Our movie too is up for 5 - pretty friggin cool! Including "Best Cinematography", "Best Young Actress", "Best Director", "Action Film of the Year", and "Best Picture."

I'll be there the entire fest - and Stan and I have been asked to speak during the AOF Filmmaker's brunch on Sunday morning.

Hope I get to meet you all and looking forward to seeing your films!

Fantastic! I know there will be a couple others as well - this way we'll have time to make sure we get to eat too! hahaha You know how filmmakers are!

Looking forward to saying hi and seeing "Sticken" Matt... the bits and pieces I've seen are pretty damn cool! I'll do my best to help fill a few more seats for your screening Tues night!

Hey, again, Congrats to ALL of you guys and all the DVXusers in the festival that I haven't had a chance to notice.

Sounds like all of y'all will get a chance to at least shake hands...that's great. I'll be looking to the board to hear about how it all goes down.

Again, Congratulations Kely, Stan, Matt, Gary and Randin! Be sure to keep us all in the loop!

Hey Marty...all well so far...huge turn out for CREED KERBEROS and SMALL DAYS...time now to Support EXHIBIT A_7 and STRICKEN and many others/\... I'll leave a more detailed post soon...
