5DtoRGB now does ProRes encoding on Windows!

I've thrown together a Windows beta that does ProRes encoding. It only runs on 64 bit Windows right now and hasn't gone through much testing. It supports ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes 422, ProRes LT and ProRes Proxy. It also does 10 bit uncompressed and 10 bit DNxHD (no 8 bit DNxHD right now, use version 1.5.4 if you need 8 bit).

Color rendering should be on par with the Mac version and with the Adobe CS5.5 suite. If you're on CS5.5, you should be able to intercut 5DtoRGB footage seamlessly with native Adobe H.264.

It may be buggy, so don't use it on any important projects. You can download it from the 5DtoRGB site. Just choose "Windows 1.5.6b (x64)" from the dropdown menu:

Please let me know ASAP if you run into any problems.

I tried running the program on my windows 64bit machine with Nvidia Quadro FX3800 graphics card and it opens then the application turns to a black box. Not sure why it does this?

Others have reported this. It may be an issue related to Nvidia cards. I did my testing on a Windows 7 machine with an ATI card, so it looks like I'll need to swap it for an Nvidia card. I'll try to get an update out today!

Works great but could not run the DNxHD with a GH1 720p 29.97, it only worked with Pro Rez(LT). Cineform and latest version of Vegas are in a pissing match, your program is saving the day. thank you so much.

I thought it was supposed to do batch encoding, but I had to open one file at a time, then re-chose the drive I was saving on, then it froze
