5D3 Live View glitch with manual lenses

I just purchased a manual Rokinon 85mm cine lens for my 5d3. The lens works great, but when live view shuts down for energy savings, I cannot bring the live view back up while pushing the start/stop button. I either have to turn the camera off and then on, or push the menu button first and then the start/stop button.

Have any of you had the same issues with live view when using manual lenses on the 5d3 and do you have a better workaround?

Yes, there seems to be some sort off odd bug. I usually just press the shutter and take a still, after that it lets me go back to liveview. Way faster than turning on/off.
