5D3 deals ? how much did you guys buy the 5d at ?

Im about to pull the triger on 5d3

B&H is now 3299, with lots of Shiiit accessroeis that I dont need.

and ebay is around 3069 for brand new.

and there is a brand called ryther camera that sells 5D at 2419, but I read online they say this is a fake website.


so how much is a good price for 5d3 ?
 
24-105 kit was $3489 from B&H in March.
Go with B&H or a reputable shop. If anything goes wrong they'll take care of you.
I once had some gear stolen on a shoot and called B&H for the serial numbers...they pulled the numbers of all my gear while I was talking to the cops. Cops were impressed and now had serial numbers to confirm what was mine. (I got my stuff back a week later BTW)
I had a piece of gear breakdown a couple weeks after I bought it. Took it back to B&H and they issued a full refund no questions asked.
My local shop is pretty good too. They're good to work with and take care of you if anything goes wrong.
Have you ever heard of eBay sellers doing any of that? Go with B&H or your local store if they're any good.
 
sending in an old $5 crappy Canon point and shoot back to Canon and they are sending me a refurbishd 5d3 for 2500 with taxes (2300) without. Body only... pretty sick deal
 
$2888 brand new last November from ebay "BigValueInc". Included the Canon warranty card; no problems at all. Registered on Canon's CPS site.
 
I would guess not the near future, but all of the makers will have one eventually. As for Canon, when they do offer one, it will probably not be in form of a $3,000 body.
 
Can someone tell me what a good price is on a 5d mark iii used? Say about 6 month with 6 months waranty left.
 
only if Canon release 1DC MK II with 4k raw possibility, then Canon will release 5d mark 4 with 2k raw ability.
