Alright, lets get the stupid questions out of the way,

Would it be possible to get the new 5d firmware upgrade to work for the t1i?

I already know some will say its nonsense, but lets have just simple opinions and ideas, not blasting

The understanding and resources of the 5D firmware can be EXTREMELY helpful for a future 500D hacker. The firmwares are all written in DryOS. I believe hudson (person who is hacking the 5D) and some other will be constructing a wiki to help future Canon hackers.
 
I would like to revive this thread. I've been shooting on my T1i for a couple of months now and would love to see at least a 24p hack and manual exposure control. Anybody else out there shooting on a T1i?
 
I would love to see manual control for my T1i. I've been using it a lot more recently even on some production shoots as a b-roll camera.
