Hey guys

I joined the slr community today after receiving my 5D.. i already have a much of nikon primes and class, but thought i'd pick up a cheap wide angle lens(the sigma 18-55mm F2.8-4.5) just to have for quick photo shots and so on.. since i cant utilize the autofocus on my nikon

as the picked it up i noticed a blatant vignetting, seeing pretty much the whole outer lens when zooming out to 18mm.. being new to full frame dslrs i didnt know about this... is this the result of buying a cheap lens or a lens not designed for a full frame dslr, or just a problem on all wide angle lenses with full frames? i mean it becomes fine when i zoom in a little but im just wonder!

thanks guys
