5d rolling shutter and other problems before buying

Can someone give me quick answers to these questions (need to make a decision today): -how is jello effect compared to 7d or d90 -how difficult is conversion to 24p? -are video controls easy and intuitive? (or complicated like locking AE in d90) -hot pixel issues? -any firmware updates available to fix any of the above? -any date/price info on sale of mark iii? thanks a lot
 
Jello is better than a D90, don't remember how it compares to a 7D. No need to convert to 24p, the latest firmware offers 24p. Video controls are much easier than a D90, and if you get magic lantern it gives you even more control. No info whatsoever on a Mark III.
