5d Mark III...2 folders of footage

Hi,

Today i found 2 folders of footage in my cf card. Usually, there is only 1 folder of footage and one "EOSMISC" folder.

Following were the folder in my cf card:

1. 101EOS5D
2. 100EOS5D
3. EOSMISC

is there any problem/issue with the card? I could copy the contents of the card into my computer, but i want to ask does anyone of you encounter such thing?

Congratulations, you took 10,000 Images/clips.

I must have done this at least 50 times with my 5D II but if all you do is record video, it happens a lot less frequently.
 
Not at all. The filenaming only goes up to 9999 so once it reaches that it starts at 0001 again. In order to prevent files from being written over eachother (in the event you wrote more than 9999 images to a single card), a new folder is created.

When checking your clips later, you should just be aware that 0001 is probably not your first clip of the day. Also, in case you actually did write more than 9999 files to a single card, don't just dump all the files off into 1 single folder because then you might have some files overwriting each other.
