5D mark 3 workflow for Final Cut Pro X?

Can I take Mark 3 footage like all-i or ipb and just import to FCPX like you can with a Mark 2 or do I have to get a 3rd party software to transcode first?

Does anyone have 5D mark 3 raw footage I can play with to test on FCPX?

It's the same as any workflow you feel comfortable with. All I plays back better than IBP natively ingested. If you're going for projects with lots of secondary editing (tracks) then think about converting to prores. It will just make things smoother.

ok so FCPX does take the footage natively as the mark 2 so no need for 3rd party converting ?
