5D III magic lantern installation help

Hey guys, I'm having trouble installing Magic Lantern. I followed the PDF step by step. Installed 1.1.3 firmware, formated SD card with Canon camera, added Magic Lantern 123 to my SD card, formatted SD card for DSLR bootable via Macboot. Added SD to camera, and selected "update firmware."

Installing firmware pops up for one second, then I just get a black screen. Nothing happens.

Am I overlooking anything?
 
Yes, But note there are 2 kinds.

The old one which shows different colors on edges, this is found in OVERLAYs tab.

The new one called DIGIC Peaking in DISPLAY tab.

The old one is slow and inaccurate and sometimes hides some details in the shot, I also find it distracting.
I don't recommend it.

The new DIGIC peaking is subtle, choose "slightly sharper" option to show edges in focus better.

Also, since I have poor eyesight and since when shooting raw, the pict profiles are no longer burned in, I increase the sharpness settings in pict styles together with digic peaking to help me focus.
