5D FCP WorkFlow...

Anybody have any ideas on how to best convert my 5D footage from 1080/24p to 720/24p DVC PRO... I shot the majority of a documentary recently on the HVX 200, and want to cut in a bunch of 5D B Roll... Still trying to find the best solution for 5D in FCP... Using Compressor, MPEG Streamclip, or just putting up with the H264 issues in the timeline... Any help is much appreciated!!!

I would use the Canon FCP Log and Transfer tool and convert all your stuff to PRORES 422 first, since this method will have TOD timecode embedded in the video files. From there you are free to keep your files at 1920x1080 prores (FCP will be able to mix/match your DVCPROHD and PRORES footage just fine on the same timeline), or convert the PRORES files to 960x720 DVCPROHD in compressor if you desire.
