There is a class in Burbank on the 5D I think around $500 for one day. I heard there are a few other places that are now giving classes on how to use the camera. Has anyone taken any of these classes? And the cost?
 
I'm one of those that learns faster having someone point out things on the camera in person and I can ask the question that I need to ask and be shown on how to trouble shoot etc... I don't mind taking a class for a few days to get the real handle on the subject.
 
$500 is a lot of clams just to learn about a camera when there are resources all over the internet that can help you.
 
And that doesn't count airfare, hotel, car rental and food. What are you shooting on? I have the t3i and the H4n Zoom. I did use the T3i for a couple shots when I was in New Zealand filming 'Tukino'. I'm wanting to get the 5d to shoot the scenes that takes place in 1777 A.D. but need to learn the camera before hand of course. I have until next April to get it figured out and that isn't really too long as it might seem.
