5D Best Wide Angled Lens For Video

Can't comment on the vast array of lenses you've listed, but I do have a set of zeiss zf s that I did use on 5dmkii often when I had one. OK so taking out characteristics of a 5dmkii on a wide angle video shot, the zeiss 21mm was beautiful to shoot with.

With a 5D? The Tokina 11-16 won't work on full frame... except maybe at 16mm.

Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 is the best wide angle. Ever. But it doesn't take filters.

Canon's a bit tricky. The 17-40 holds the best value. It holds 77mm filters too! The 16-35... IMO overpriced. The 14 f2.8 L is godly... but it's a single prime lens so it depends if you need more focal length or not. I don't believe it takes filters either.

Zeiss wide angle primes are always top notch.

Tokina 16-28mm f2.8... look into that lens. It's supposed to be extraordinary on a full frame camera. Only downside is that it can't take filters. If you absolutely need filters, snag the 17-40mm f4.

Nikkor 17-35 2.8 is a sweet lens too, though there are no infinity stops. Takes filters. The tokina 11-16 does work at 15 and 16mm. The Zeiss 21mm is the best lens on your list IMHO. We had a very bad time using the Canon 17-40 on our 5d, mostly related to apertures changing with zooming, and other electronic things that made it feel the lens was in control. One more thought, the Sigma 18-35 is a surprisingly decent lens and you can bang it around without fear as it's so cheep.
