$500 rebate expired on the 31st

I was going to purchase a DVX-100A from a dealer, but he recommended I wait because the $500 rebate just expired, and he thinks they'll bring it back because they need to sell the DVX-100A's so they can put out the DVX-100B.

Anyone want to predict whether they'll renew the rebate? Or.. make a bigger one? Hehe...

I wanted to buy it from the dealer so I could get like a 3 year warranty or something.. does that sound wise? I'm 20, and into making hilarious comedy films.. and of course posting stupid comments.

the dvx100B already has a similar price, plus a $200 rebate, you might want to check that out, until the 100A regains a rebate, the 100B is cheaper ;)

I just got a DVX100A 1.5 months ago and waiting for the rebate however I'd gladly sell it to you minus the rebate rate as it's only got 11 hours on the machine! I also have the Varizoom controller if your interested.

Oh wow. What's so special about the 100B? Does it come in multiple colors or something? Does it weigh 1 lb less? Hehe.

Thanks for the offer for buying your new camera, I just wanted to get a warranty incase it exploded or something.

I love the new camera and the B series is a little different, if you looking to pick up the 100A a little cheaper maybe we can work a deal? Is that what your looking for? I have the camera and the varizoom controller and am willing to work something out...
