..... where do I load the tape?
MUHAHAHahahahaaaa
1st thoughts - feels solid, not a cheap build or "off balance" as one review mentioned. With Fuji 2x & AB brick, felt great on shoulder. No cards yet, so I'll post back with ease of recording via MacBookPro (hopefully).
11pm: stole a few minutes from editing to play w/ 500 & Mac... Scopebox happily recorded some 1080i. Fantastic on-set tool for waveform, digz as you go, etc. Found the focus assist graph to be fast & intuitive to use. Back end of the beastie is quite the "wide load"... gonna have to pull out the BetaSP to see which is "thicker in the end". BUT, great cable connections, all with covers. Got to read up on the Fuji's "shot box" zoom feature, as well as the "quick zoom" (push a button, it whips in focusing, release & it whips back to where it was). Thinking I'm gonna wish there were 3200/5600 white balance positions on the external switch, instead of switching PRST temp. via menu.
