[FS: General] 5 Zeiss Arriflex Prime Lens Set - Geared PL Mount

How is the color matching between these lenses? Are these converted 16mm camera lenses? Do any of them vignette at all at 4k?

Color matching is pretty damn good. I talked to a couple of DPs who have shot with my lenses and they are in love with the quality. Sharpness, speed, smoothness of geared focus ring. These are 35mm lenses, not converted 16s. In 4k the widest lens(16mm) has a very slight vignette. I might be able to get a still frame example if you're interested.
 
Any idea if there are any issues with using these on a 7D hotrod pl? Anyone have experience with the combo?

I don't see why there would be any issues. If they worked with RED's huge sensor they should work with anything.

They would make a great combo with a DSLR. They're light and compact.

Red's sensor isn't huge, it's the same size as the 7D's...

But they're PL-mount, and that means they probably won't work with a DSLR that has a mirror in it.

How old are these? Is this what would have been considered a classic "standard set " of primes?

You said the PL is removable? Are they actually another kind of mount with PL adapters? If so what's below the PL?

Is there a trial period or option to return after looking at them

$8K is alot sight unseen.
 
FWIW- These are from the Arri 2c + BL1/BL2 era. Really lovely though- maybe not the best if your looking for a "real" modern cinema lens- but they are color matched and are super tiny + light- very sharp at all apertures too. Under the PL mount they should be arri-S mount.

They are Arri Standard mounts underneath the PL adapter.

Where is this set located? I take it you put this set together lens by lens over time? Can you tell me more about the history of this set?
