5-year warranty from Panasonic

I saw that today, and it just burns me, since my JVC's LCD died after less than 50 hours, but because it's 7 weeks out of warranty I'm out of luck.
 
Yeah, I made QUITE SURE my application was registered in those first 30 days of ownership! To think... a broadcast camera w/ a 5 year warranty.
 
Unfortunately my serial number for the 500 is already registered. Something we're trying to figure out with our vendor right now.
 
I had the same problem with my HPX 2000. The Panny rep said that my dealer could have registered. Anyway he assured me that is was registered in my name

Some dealers do the registration because they know it is important and timing is everything. Check with your dealer and make sure he registered the camera in your name. If not, then they need to help you get it straightend out with Panasonic.

Concewiveably another person registered his camera, and by virtue of a mistype, entered your serial number and not his own. So you need to be vigilant until you have the answer.

You should have received an email telling you about the 5 year warranty.
