Anyone got a good suggestions? I need an articulation arm mounted LCD to monitor during dollys etc.

I was thinking of trying this 9" battery powered LCD. It has a 800x480 resolution. It's only $130 and takes a composite input. I'll need an HDMI to composite adapter, cant' be impossible to find that.

I am usually very happy with my 24" 1080p monitor but there are times when this would be nice. Should I just get a lower res 7"

Ideally I could find a 720p 7" monitor.

Anyone got a better idea?

Ikan V8000 HDMI, 8" battery powered 800 x 480 production monitor with HDMI, S-Video, Component (BNC), and Composite (BNC) in, and I think it's on clearance somewhere for $350 or so...(used to be like $800...)

I would love to know where you've seen the Ikan V8000HDMI for that price. The lowest price I'm able to find is around $700

Well, I went in to that one with my eyes wide open. I'm hoping 1080 will look good on a 7" screen in the same way it does on a 32" 720 LCD. IOW, getting smaller usually sharpens things up. At any rate, I ordered one last night...
