Hi guys,
It seems the internet lied to me about numbers and as a result I've picked up four kickass Matthews Triple-Riser Combo Stands (they go up to 4.5m high(!) and support 30kg at full extension, and up to 40kg with just two risers), but the damn things are 20cm too long for the custom-shelving in my ute.
I've had these a grand total of two weeks, and they've only been out on two shoots so far. They retail for $439 AUD each, I'm looking for $320 per stand or $1200 for all four.
I'm in Melbourne, Australia, and am happy to ship them both locally and internationally, however due to the sheer size of these beasts you'll have to expect some hefty shipping fees unless you can pick them up locally.
They're great stands, super tall and rock solid, and I really wish I didn't have to move them on (because it's been a very expensive misstep) but they don't fit in the ute, so they really have to go.
So if anyone's in the market for some Big Boy stands, let me know! ...meanwhile I have to go find some alternatives that will actually fit.
