Dolgin makes quality chargers and are made mostly of metal not cheap plastic like Watson and the others. I've used Watson and Dolgin and there is no comparison in quality. I don't use cheap aftermarket batteries in my cameras, from experience they just don't hold up over time and I won't use cheap aftermarket chargers for the same reason.

Fair enough, though I’ve never wished my charged batteries had charged in metal instead. And even if wasabi batteries don’t hold up well over time, it doesn’t matter. They’re so dirt cheap you could buy dozen replacements and still come in under budget.

But the wasabi batteries I purchased with my GH4 in 2014 are still fine. Glad to see a high quality option on the market, I just think the price is way too high to make any sense. At a much more competitive price this would be a no brainer.

Same for me with the Watson batteries, though I know that they don't last as long as the OEM Panasonic batteries.

Is there any competition ? ...I think we are lucky to have this option, because I really don't see anyone else stepping up to compete at this level. ( I would also expect the Dolgin charger to charge significantly faster than the low cost solutions )
