4th at da Hester's

Wow, all I did was ride around on a kids scooter with a aluminum-foil cape and roman candles strapped to my head...

someone finally picked up the victim's truck yesterday. it sat with a couple of roses on the windshield, right at the top of my driveway since the 4th.

and to Grinner...i'm sorry to have diverted your thread...i REALLY got a kick out of that video...that's the kind of dad i'm likely to be...inspiration!

thank yuo sir. I appriciate that. It's a fun adventure as long as you include yourself in theirs.

There will never be, in the history of this site, a more effective threadjack.

"hey check it out... we made some costumes that look like spacesuits!"

"cool... check out this clip of me and my cousin on the last shuttle mission"...

If there's any comedy in all of this... that's it... the threadjack of the century.

well, Matt, you got me...i'm not sure if i should feel dumb and guilty, or just brush it off as comedy...haven't figured out your rhetoric...but if i'm gonna jack a thread, i may as well impress al quaida...it happened again...some dipsh*t border patrol agent decided to drive 40 miles, to my neighborhood last night to attack his ex-wife and her boyfriend with a hatchet. yes, a hetchet. here's the story from today's news. brief mention of the crime that happened next door on the 4th at the end...http://www.nctimes.com/articles/200...condido/z1e7fd2e715a3537c882575ee0059de26.txt

i neverf meant to do this here, but stuff keeps happening...i promise, should there be a 3rd crime in my neighborhood, i'll start my own damn thread.

Pff... you think you live in a crazy neighborhood...

Last week, late in the evening during the fireworks... we thought an errant pyrotechnic from the next street over landed in my neighbor's back lawn... but the rogue spark continued to burn for ten minutes until we finally ran over to put out the fire hazard. When we got over there I saw that the blue ball wasn't actually touching the lawn... but floating a few inches off the ground. We stood there for a minute... staring in awe and wonder... and then it hit us... a sudden zap, like static electricity, knocked me and my other neighbors on our asses! I thought we were knocked down for only a split second as we watched the object burn out... but it was nearly two hours later... and now each of us has our own unique super-powers... plus we all share a guarded secret about the origins of the universe.

But if you think that sounds wild... you wouldn't BELIEVE what happened three days before that...

(Chris... seriously... maybe you should start a news show about Escondito... I'd watch it... also... since we're jacking the hell out of this already... you have some great stuff on Vimeo... I was impressed with your eye for the world... now to the original poster... GH... I guess we need to incite some major crime in your area... the pressure's on... forum readers want shocking! They want fresh! Not some hatchet job...)

We had cops all up in our carport the other night with flashlights at midnight. I guess they are into scaring 9 year old boys and proving 80 year old ladies with Alzheimer's who think men are invading right.
Apparently the same fussy lady who called the cops on us on the 4th called em again the other night as we were sleeping and instead of the cops knocking on my door, they thought they'd risk their lives by trolling though someone's dark property in the dead of night.
I didn't know about this until my wofe told me the next morning or I would have gone out in my underwear to discuss.
It's weird... one cop does such a great job one night to apoint I wanted to call the PD and praise him and another night they show no regard for protocol whatsoever. It all depends on the individual that responds. Some are good at their gigs.... some or not.

Matt, as i was reading your super-powers story, i was listning to the very beginning of "Long way Home" by Supertramp...totally hit the spot for some reason.

thanks for watching my Vimeo stuff too...i'm no pro, and i live a simple life (now)..gives me much joy.
