F55: 4k broadcast standard

[steve phillipps]

Does anyone know much about the planned 4k broadcast standard? Not so much the resolution but frame rate. I read (or misread!) a document talking about 60 and 120P being the standards. If that's the case does that then mean that something like the Sony F55 does not meet that standard as it only does 60P in 4k? Or is the F55 going to eventually do 120P?Steve

Firmware time lines show the F55 maxed to 60p in 4k.

I have no idea about the 4k broadcast standard but can imagine it being 60p and higher.
