4K, 24P Action Cam - $129

Strange. The camera's imaging chip, the Sony IMX117, is a 12MP sensor capable of 4,096 x 2,160 at 60 fps at 10 bits (and 48 fps at 12 bits). This tells me that the other chips are underpowered such that the sensor is restricted to a 4:3 window.

I picked up a git2 pro from B&H, from my short tests, it seems like the real deal. I will know better after my return from some filming I am doing at the 12 hours of Sebring. My goal is a short documentary of the trip.
