4Gb P2 card UK supply

can anyone shed any light on the 4gb P2 card situation in the UK.
bought my hvx200 in mid june with a 4gb card on order - now they are telling me 4gb cards won't be available until mid august!

anyone know the reason why, and is it likely to be delayed even further

have tried both h preston and creative - they both say mid august
must be some serious supply problems over here
 
Hey Tony, what about getting them from abroad or a different country like germany?
If you have interest i could ask my dealer, they had even some 8gig in stock at the beginning of april...let me know!

my dealer has 8gb cards - too expensive for me
as i said i have already paid for a 4gb card with my current dealer (on a finance deal), so it would be a lot of hassle to switch, and can't even afford another £500 to get another 4gb card

just wondered if anyone had any reasons why it is so hard to get hold of the 4gb cards

can't wait for the cineporter to come out, then hopefully, can forget about p2
 
You've got my sympathy Tone, I'm in the same boat - paid for the 4gig and now twiddling my thumbs waiting - mid august you say?
