SHORT: 48hr FF entry - THE PSYCLE

We won 1st place in Showdown in Chinatown for our short film The Psycle.

Requirements were to write, shoot and edit within the 48 hours and the film had to be under 7 minutes.

Genre: Satire
Dialogue: "I thought I got a pretty good deal."
Props: Spork and packing tape

Great job. Satire isnt really my genre, but so many "film/drama nerds" love to do it and they often dont realize that what they think is funny rarely is at all. So good job on actually writing something that is entertaining and not to awkward.

Had some nice shots, nice acting and it flowed well.

Pretty nice job in keeping it at a short length for the type of material you had.

Thanks Jon! We were pretty happy with it considering the limitations (turning my room into a young girl's room required me to swallow a lot of pride), especially since the young girl could only shoot for a few hours after school.

We are going to rewrite, and reshoot the entire short with much more time for production, location and sound design, editing, etc.
