$400 rebate on DVX200 10/1 - 12/31/16

It doesn't say US only anywhere... I wonder what would happen if I buy one (in Europe) and claim the refund...?

I can only find a €300 free Panasonic accessories promotion. Which isn't bad since I would need batteries.
If only I wasn't in so much doubt about this camera...

I love the specsheet. But I also love the out-of-the-box colors of Canon. We do mostly run 'n gun stuff and use XF100's for that. In my opinion they are almost faultless with AWB and tht's a biggie doing 911 stuff or other 'fast paced' reporting. And when there IS a problem with AWB, it can be fixed in post because the 50Mbps 4:2:2 codec 'allows' serious corrections.

But we start getting in other requests now for which we need a more capable camera. Canon C100 is without 4K and has a mediocre codec, XC15 has flaws that are serious to us. I also owned a GH4 (therefore I know now DSLR filmmaking is not really for me) and never liked the skintones compared to Canon. This camera ticks all the boxes but I'm afraid I will fight it for the colors. (This is a good example of what I fear: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?346912-DVX200-White-Balance-problems-Scene-file-preference-for-a-natural-look)
