Looks good. I also would like to know why you used dissolves. Also, the lighting was a little much on the woman inside. It looks like she has a spotlight on her. Unless you are going for that look. Like you said, hard to judge out of context. Good none the less.

Why the dissolves...Good question. I tried a few different transitions but something about the dissolve felt right. The sequence is not a deam, but kind of a waking fantasy, or hightened reality; the young man wants to be near the girl and he's visualizing what it might be like.

That's as close to an explaination as I can offer. The scene still needs editing and tightening.

Im considering dissolving straight to the young man looking in the window rather than pulling back the camera and revealing him. What do you think?

As far as the "spotlight" effect, I guess I wanted to accentuate her as much as possible in the shot. It probably could have been toned down a little, but it doesn't bother me. I kind of like that overly dramatic lighting :)
