…plus my 17" MacBook Pro (serial # C02FT0SKDF93), about a terabyte of CF and SD cards, twenty some-odd batteries, a bajillion cables, Tiffen filter kits, Singh Ray 77mm variable ND, etc.

I was giving a talk on time-lapse there was why I had all my gear out there, someone broke the window to my Honda Element took it all. They left sticks and some heavy Pelican cases, so probably a very fast job.

Any info greatly appreciated, please email me directly at mikedcurtis@mac.com if you see or hear of anything.

I'll be posting this elsewhere online, too.

This was the entirety of the tools of my career they just jacked, I'm really hurt by this.

I was there today. I will definitely keep my eyes out. BTW, I would suggest trolling craigslist. BTW, I know this too late, but as a friend of mine from New York told me when I first moved to LA, "Don't leave anything of value in your car, they'll steal the crack out of your ass in THIS town if you let them." Just sharing a little dark humor in a poor attempt to cheer you up.

Holy cow! Yes I will keep an eye out. Serial numbers help find this stuff on Craigslist & Ebay.

I live in the area and was at Createsphere today. Always thought it was safe. Did you park in the Burbank Mariott lot?

We we should run an ad "Photog Moving to Town Looking For Deals On Gear..."

So sorry to hear that. I was in attendance today as well. Wish I had my eyes open for you.
Best of luck, we all can empathize.

Hey Mike, my heart sank when I read this. Even if you are insured its not easy to go through something like this. All you need is one serial number found and you could probably trace it back to whoever did this. I hope you can get all your gear back.

I personally hide a GPS tracker in my expensive cases for situations like this.
