Shot for a weekly sketch comedy tv show I do in Brazil. Finally I managed to post something with English subtitles, so you can watch without getting lost!

Shot on the HVX 200, no adapter. Black and white. Color graded (some s curves applied) in 15 minutes in Apple Color.

This week we did a short in homage to Federico Felini.

Thanks man, I guess it's much more in the camera work than in lighting or settings. It was lit somewhat darker than 8 1/2 and with more soft sources (because video kind of sucks for hard lighting). We're suckers for the panning reveals and the Extreme DOF shots, although they're not very "in" this days... :D
 
I try to use a long DOF as much as possible (God bless you, Stanley Kubrick). I think people have stayed away from it lately because it's not "natural" (the way the eye sees) or they're afraid of the "video" look. Nice job.
