4 audio channels in FCP with hvx200 footage?

When I get my footage into a FCP timeline there are 4 audio tracks, shouldn't there only be two audio tracks? It's been this way since I bought my camera like 7 months ago, but I haven't had a desire to look into it to get it fixed until now... im sure its a setting in the camera somewhere but i'm having the hardest time figuring out where... can anyone help me out with this?

This is normal. Channels 3 & 4 are from the on-board microphone when using Channels 1 & 2 with other mics or mixers. If you don't want all four channels upon log and transfer you can designate this under your settings in the L&T window.

Check out pg. 52 in the manual. 4 channels are fixed when using DVCPro HD and DVCPro50. You can change settings when using DVCPro25 or SD with P2, tape only records 2 channels.
